RULES FOR PLAYING THIS GAME (for the guest host) Every event is scripted. You, as a host, must merely read from the script. Whenever it says to draw a name, reach into the Big Mug and pull out a scrap of paper. Of course, none of these scraps actually have names on them. All of the names you "draw" are actually scripted. The entire class could not be involved lest this presentation last too long and overstay its welcome, so only some members of the class were scripted into it. Please accept the creator's forgiveness if your name is not called, but hey, isn't that the way game shows usually go? Whenever a scripted line is in parentheses, it is an informative line telling you what to do. Do not read it aloud. Whenever the script calls for you to read an answer, refer to the sheet marked "answers for HatPardy". Whenever the script calls for you to distribute a hat or wig, refer to the sheet labelled "list of hats and their effects", read the description aloud for the hat or wig you're about to distribute, then allow the game's creator to shuffle through his white garbage bag and present the hat or wig to the soon- to-be-wearer of it. That is all. Now, proceed with the game's script.
